Rose-breasted Grosbeak (Pheucticus ludovicianus)

Chunkier than a sparrow and almost as large as Robin. Males are black and white with a brush of rosy-red on the chest. females are brown and white with dark brown streaks all over, white eyebrow. Males and females both have blunt triangular beaks. They love all sorts of insects and seeds.
